David and Starliner Canterbury

Starliner and I, David come from different countries and cultures, but we both started our relationship with Christ at an early age; however, we did not understand what being a follower of Jesus Christ meant until we started college. I graduated from Marshall University in 2011, and went to the Dominican Republic as an intern with Cru. I never expected God's amazing plan to involve joining Cru full time, serving in the DR for two more years, or meeting Starliner, but He had a plan for both of us. In 2014, when I returned to the States, Starliner joined Cru in the Dominican Republic, and both of us followed our passion to reach lost students and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. In 2016, I went back to the Dominican Republic and married Starliner, and we served with Cru there together. In 2017 we returned to the States and began working at Marshall University. We work primarily with International Students through Cru's ministry called Bridges. We get to befriend and show God's love to students from all over the world. We also get to help American students learn how to share with different cultures.
